Note about Translations

Google translate, Bing Translator, Deepl and other web-based translation programs can provide rough translations of webpage content. Sometimes a translation option is included on webpages - as here.

To translate a website that does not have translation options included, go to the Google Translate webpage (http://translate.google.com/) or the Bing Translator page (http://www.bing.com/translator). Type the website address, such as www.gerhardinger.org, into the box on the left of the page. Select the language you want to translate to. Click the website link which appears in the box on the right. The website will appear in the language of your choice. Note: Often menu items, words that are part of pictures, and non-English words do not translate.

Another option is Deepl (https://www.deepl.com/translator) which gives a very good translation but you need to copy and paste text into it. The free version will not translate a website.

I am interested in hearing about your experiences with these translation options and other web-based translation programs that you know. Please share your comments below. Thank you!
