1847 Mother Theresa trusted
the members of the Congregation to carry on even when she was not present. An
example of this is given in a letter she wrote Archbishop Reisach of Munich
before her journey to America. In this message she named a 24-year-old,
M. Foreria Schiesser, to be Vicar in her absence.
